Areas of Research Interests

I am interested in studying genomic data which are extremely useful medically and scientifically and can be used to great benefit, especially in sequencing and annotating genomes and their observed mutations, which means personalized medicine. What role regulatory variation and mutations play in disease (and other) phenotypes? What is it about the 3D structure, interaction partner, and dimerization potential of the protein that is changed by mutation? Additional interests include applying of machine learning tools to analyze the human phenotypes and answer evolutionary questions.
